A little about me
I’m Sam Russell, a classical composer based in West London.
I love writing beautiful music - traditionally tonal music - something the world needs more of.
My musical journey started off as a heavy-metal guitarist. After doing a heavy metal album I became interested in how I could push my guitar playing and started studying composition... which quickly became it's own obsession, and I started writing classical music purely for the sake of it.
So now I do a bit of both - and this website is purely dedicated to my classical-style compositions. I'll be sharing new recordings, works-in-progress and a few things about the classical music side of life.
